Christmas Eating

No, that's not what we served. That's what I ate Christmas Day evening, after dinner of course. Aside from that, I think I did pretty well. It doesn't looked like I gained any extra weight and I feel pretty darn good. Of course Christmas dinner made it difficult to walk, but it was Christmas after all, and the dinner was fantastic.

Today is back to eating properly... I had an asparagus omelet for breakfast (sans cheese, I need to lay of cheese for a bit), 1/3 cup hash browns and coffee. Lunch was a vegan burger on top of one slice of a whole grain thin bun with avocado, tomato, spinach and Dijon mustard. For a snack I had half of a natural licorice stick and a banana.

While I could have gone mad crazy and eat too much, I didn't. Pretty darn proud of myself.

Holidays are always hard when you're trying to loose. I allowed myself to eat what I wanted but promised that I wouldn't go crazy. So if I wanted a piece of pie I just had about 1/2 of what I would normally eat. That seemed to help out a ton. Keep up the great work. :)
